Quick Start

Get playing in about five minutes. You'll need your own legally obtained US copy of A Link to the Past. The app ships no game data.

1 · Install

Download the latest build for your platform from the Releases page (Windows portable or installer .exe, macOS .dmg, or Linux .AppImage/.deb) and launch it.

2 · Import your ROM

Open the title-bar menu → Data → ROMs → Import ROM, and pick your US .sfc/.smc. The app checks the file and extracts the assets it needs locally, which takes a few seconds.

3 · Create a profile

Choose Create Profile, give it a name, pick your ROM, choose a language, and optionally add an MSU-1 music pack. A profile is a self-contained space for your saves, settings, and controls.

4 · Play

Hit Play. The game runs right in the app window.

Action	How
Reveal the title bar	hover the top edge; it auto-hides while you play
Open the menu	the hamburger icon, or Escape
Quick save	hold the save button (Select by default), covered in Save States
Mute	the speaker icon in the title bar
Open a widget	menu → Widgets, listed in the overview
