How to backup your SD Card - drexjj/sbitx GitHub Wiki

You can use this procedure to backup either the 32 bit as-shipped radio or 64 bit version.

Make a complete backup of your SD card inside the radio. This is helpful for restoring back to the factory settings later.

What's required?

• A blank USB storage drive 32GB or larger (This will erase everything on on the USB storage drive connected!!!)
• USB mouse
• sBitx

Procedure

1. Power on the sBitx
2. Insert your USB storage drive into an open port on the sBitx
3. Open the menu and select Accessories--> SD Card Copier
4. Select the Copy From Device as the internal storage (usually /dev/mmcblk0)
5. Select the Copy To Device: as he USB storage drive (usually /dev/sda)
6. Press Start (this process takes a long time so be patient)
7. When complete, remove the USB storage drive and save it for later.
