The Topic

This project will focus on the implementation of a hybrid cloud environment for a small to medium size business. This will include redundancies for services such as Active Directory Domain Services as well as storage services for potential web applications and other data.

Overview

I've worked with small and medium size businesses before, and I continue to notice the same issue: there is no redundancy. From a small firm with less than 15 employees to a larger company with a couple hundred, flexibility in their network solution is underwhelming. If their main infrastructure on premise goes down, even though internet connectivity is still working, the entire company is stopped in its tracks. That issue completely stops all productivity for the business, and it is an issue I am aiming to mitigate with this project.

Topic Description

I propose to develop and implement a hybrid cloud environment, emulating the required infrastructure resources for a small to medium size business. This includes having an on-premise and cloud-based Domain Controller working redundantly, as well as a redundant on-premise and cloud-based storage solution.
