LQI stands for Link Quality Indicator, and shows the signal strength with which two nodes see each other.

It is displayed in the format of "A->B/B->A". End nodes always see its router as 0.

Given the environment presented in the screenshot above, we can read the following:

  • "Luce" see "Humidity 5" with an LQI of 196.
  • "Configuration tool 1" see "Luce" with an LQI of 49.
  • "Humidity 5" is an end device and thus see Luce as 0.
  • "Luce" see "Configuration tool 1" with an LQI of 58.

LQI value meanings:

  • 255 excellent
  • - 200 good
  • 130 flaky but can work
  • - < 100 problematic
