Overview of the FrameD Project

Please follow the README instructions in the main directory of this project. This will ensure that issues with enviroment setup and installation are handled before extending the infrastructure.

This project aims to provide a programmable, scalable, and flexible infrastructure for building, verifying, and validating DNA storage system encoding and decoding designs. This document will cover the programming model that we use to represent DNA encoding/decoding so that users can build their own storage systems with their own components. It will also provide information on how to evaluate combinations of design choices so that solution spaces can be explored efficiently using just a small number of independent tools.
