Configuration of ircDDBGateway Settings
Firewall settings
To properly use the ircDDBGateway for a repeater or inbound traffic, you will need to have your system available to the internet; please use the following link. If you're a user (outbound only connecting) then just make sure outbound traffic is unrestricted or review the following link.
Call Routing Registration
In order to use the ircDDB Gateway or StarNET Server fully, the users and repeater need to be registered with, and logged into, a Call Routing network. Audio routing via CCS is available to all gateways and has no restrictions on its use. If you want use of the older DPlus reflectors your users will also need to have registration on the USTrust system, there is no registration for ircDDB repeaters on the older G2 USTrust databases.
Basic Settings required
To configure ircDDBGateway you need to run the ircddbgatewayconfig binary on linux or the ?? on windows.
- Gateway on Configuration tool
- ircDDB Tab on Configuration tool
- D-PRS Tab on Configuration tool
- DExtra Tab on Configuration tool

- MISC Tab on Configuration tool This tab enables and configures some other functions of the system.
The info command enables the use of the '_ _ _ _ _ _ _ I' command being sent for the repeater to return data
The echo command enabled the use of the '_ _ _ _ _ _ _ E' command being sent for the repeater to use the parrotserver
GUI Log enables the ircDDBgateway tool to update its graphical interface, if using remote or headless this would save resources.
D-RATS enables the gateway to encode and transmit D-RATS slow speed data with no other requirements; currently the software will not receive this data unless your on simplex mode only (not working with gateway/internet link)
DTMF Control enables the software to understand commands over the radio path for DTMF
