The DIVERSUS Terminology

The DIVERSUS terminology is important for the development process as we are using the terms in our codes and design systems.

Connection Point

The petal is connected to a precise frame (moment in time) of the seed. So the user has the possibility to add complementary information to every statement in the seed-video.

Flower

The seed builds together with all its surrounding petals a flower. A flower delivers the full picture to the topic described in the seed.

Seed

The seed is the central information and all surrounding petals refer to it. The seed contains the information to be completed and researched.

Petal

A petal is an information added to a seed.

Flavour

Petals can represent different types of complementary information. Eg. it can be a "contradiction", a "joke" or whatever makes sense to the user.

Singellevel Flower

When a flower consists only of a seed and petals and that's it (no multilevel).

Multilevel Flower

When the click on a petal leads to a new flower (petal with petals). How many levels a flower can have (depth) is bound to technolgical limitations.
