2.0 App Categories - dikodahan/dikodahan.github.io GitHub Wiki
The Apps in the app store are divided into multiple sections to make it easier to understand which options to choose from and also avoid if that section is less relevant for you.
Each app also has a short description section that explains what is its specific benefit. Please note that some of these descriptions also include instructions crucial for the operation of some of these apps. Make sure to read these instructions!
In general, you only need to install one, or a couple of apps within each section and not all of them. Since these apps sometimes fails, it is good to have handy alternatives!

Dependencies
- Apps that may be needed as dependencies for other apps to work properly.
The streaming apps available here are usually one of two general kinds:
- One click app - will search for the best source for the stream and will choose that one automatically for you. ** Upside: simpler interface with no need to select which stream link to run the content. ** Downside: it does not necessarily chooses the best quality stream.
- General purpose streaming app - will display all streaming options for you to choose from. ** Upside: You can choose the quality you want and the hosting service that usually works well for you. ** Downside: Adds another step and is confusing for a person running this for the first time.
When using a general purpose streaming app it will show you the quality level of the stream based on the following code tags in the name of the stream. You can use the following link to understand the different movie quality types you can usually find when receiving a list of sources.
Obviously, it may take some time until you have a higher quality movie. For example, a movie just came out in the movie theater. It would normally have a CAM version a day after release. Over time, you may receive a DVD screener (not always) or a webrip off a streaming service. As soon as a blueray is released for the movie they will release even 4K versions of the it.
Nowadays, with streaming services becoming more and more prevalent and with movies and TV shows airing almost simultaneously with the movie theaters, you may get new movies at very high quality the same day they are released.
