Options to move away from paper and pencil exams:

• Ask students to bring laptops, code live

  • Been tried before, scale is a problem, laptop problems happen no matter what

• Online exam framework

  • Prairie Learn

  • Others?

• Testing center (distant future, perhaps?)

Frequency of exams:

Could we test more frequently? Once per module? Exams would be smaller, more routine, less pressure.
