MFP (MultifunPlayer) Installation

Quick Guide for pc users (Microsoft Windows)

"MultiFunPlayer is a simple app to synchronize your devices (e.g. OSR or buttplug.io supported devices) with any video using funscripts. Supported video players are DeoVR, MPV, MPC-HC/BE, HereSphere and Whirligig. The player's main feature is the ability to play multiple funscripts at the same time, allowing for greater movement fidelity." (from the MultiFunPlayer github site). With respect to restim, MFP:

  1. Loads video (with audio) files.
  2. Loads their associated funscript files.
  3. Plays the video and audio on a computer while simultaneously playing the funscript(s) to your "device". In our case, the device is the restim program, which processes the funscript(s) and outputs corresponding estim audio signals to your stim box.

Install MFP

  1. Make sure you have administrative privileges on your computer.
  2. Browse to the MFP web site: MultiFunPlayer (MFP) .
  3. Click on the latest release.
  4. Download the self contained zip file (located at the page bottom).
  5. Use Windows File Explorer to open the Downloads folder on your pc.
  6. Unzip MultiFunPlayer zip files with File Explorer.

Run MFP

  1. Open the unzipped folder and run multifunplayer.exe Note: You may get a system pop-up message warning about running third party software. Click on the more info (or similar) button, and select the run anyway (or similar) button.
