The FRAY subfamily of Ste20-like kinases in D. discoideum

DFray1 and DFray2 represent the FRAY-subfamily of Ste20-like kinases in D. discoideum (see sevkin -svkA- for more information on Ste20 kinases). In humans this family is represented by OSR (oxidative stress responsive kinase, a name that is a bit misleading as nobody showed a link between OSR and oxidative stress) and STLK3/SPAK. The fruit fly contains only the kinase Fray in this subfamily.
