DICE Documentation and IDE Releases
The different features and releases of the DICE Simulation Tool are extensively documented. Specifically, you can find more information about the DICE Simulation tool in the following documents:
-
D2.2. - Design and quality abstractions - Final version (Jan. 2017) and D2.4 - Deployment Abstractions - Final version (Apr. 2017). These deliverable extensively documents the different modeling abstractions provided by DICE (i.e., DICE Profiles), and that can be used in the DICE Simulation Tool.
-
D3.1 - Transformations to analysis models (July 2016). This deliverable describes the model transformation techniques to obtain simulation and verification models from the application models, and more importantly, lists the main MARTE stereotypes that are supported by the DICE Simulation Tool in order to perform such dimulations.
Additionally, the DICE IDE included past versions of the DICE Simulation Tools. Specifically:
-
DICE Simulation Tools v0.1.x - DICE IDE Initial Release (Feb. 2016)
We accompanied this release with the D3.2 - DICE Simulation Tools - Initial version project deliverable, which provides the motivation for the tools and further details.
A demonstration video of the DICE Simulation Tools (Initial Release) can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZX6IoHgHc0. Please note that the GUI shown in the video differs from the GUI of later versions.
-
DICE Simulation Tools v0.4.x - DICE IDE Intermediate Release (Feb. 2017)
We accompanied this release with the D3.3 - DICE Simulation Tools - Intermediate version deliverable, explaining the new invocation UI and functionality.
-
DICE Simulation Tools v0.6.x - DICE IDE Final Release (July 2017)
We accompanied this release with the D3.4 - DICE Simulation Tools - Final version deliverable. This version added new profiles and measurement calculators.
