Factory Reset restores the original Firmware from the Recovery partition. Vacuum Robot must be charged >=80% and in the charging station. Recovery takes up to 10 minutes.

Gen1

Hold Home Button and press WiFi-reset button, continue holding the home button until reset notification is played.

Modell: SDJQR01RR - While the device is powered on, press the system reset button while holding down the home button until you hear the voice prompt say “Restoring to Initial Version.” (maybe in chinese/cantonese)

Gen2

  1. Open top cover to find Reset Key.
  2. Press the Charge/Docking Button and keep holding it.
  3. After 3 seconds use a paper clip or something thin and long to press once Reset Button, don't stop holding Charge Key during this operation.
  4. Keep holding Charge Button for another 5 seconds until you hear a voice message about "Restoring the factory settings", and Power Button light starts blinking.
  5. Give Xiaomi vacuum about 5 minutes to restore its normal operation, if vacuum will not restart itself, place it manually on the charging station.

After that, all settings will be reset.
