Only system administrators are allowed to access the Admin Console. However, by default, you are the administrator of your own account, and upon login, land in the QuickStart module of the Admin Console.
The Admin Console includes the following modules:
- Quickstart
- Apps
- Users
- Roles
- App Groups
- Data
- Services
- Files
- Schema
- API / SDK
- Packages
- Config
Each module is described in the following sections of the Admin Console documentation.
To access the Admin Console from another part of DreamFactory, select the gear icon in the upper-right tool-bar of your DreamFactory.
There are three sections that make up the Admin Console interface. On the left is the Navigation Menu, which provides access to DreamFactory Resources. In the middle section is the Resource List, which shows the resources that have been created for each Navigation Menu item. Finally, on the right is the Resource workspace, which is used to create and update resources.
