If you’ve some AVAX in your Ledger wallet that you want to manage, this article will show you how to access your Ledger Avalanche (AVAX) account via the Avalanche Wallet.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1.Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2.Ledger Live for MAC

3.Ledger Live for Android

Before you start

• Update the firmware of your Ledger Nano to the latest version.
• Update the Avalanche app installed in your Ledger device to the latest version.
• Close the Ledger Live app before accessing your Avalanche Wallet to avoid conflict between the apps.

Install the AVAX app on your Ledger device

If you don’t have the AVAX app installed on your Ledger device. Here’s how you can do it.

• Open the Ledger Live app
• Go to My Ledger in Ledger Live.
• Connect and unlock your Ledger device. If asked, allow My Ledger to access your device.
• Find Avalanche in the app catalog in Ledger Live.
• Click the Install button of the app next to it.
• Wait for the installation process to complete.
• Now you’ve successfully installed the AVAX app on your Ledger device.

Access your Ledger Avalanche account(s) through Avalanche Wallet

• Connect your Ledger device to the computer.
• Open the Avalanche app on your Ledger device.
• Go to Wallet.avax.network/ and click on Access wallet.

• Choose Ledger from the list of options.

• Wait for your Ledger device to be recognized.

• Select your Ledger device and click on Connect.
• Once it’s connected successfully, the Avalanche wallet will open with your balance and other information such as the receiving address and transaction history — if you have already performed a transaction with your account before.
