Updating your Ledger Live mobile app is a simple process when using mobile devices with operating systems such as iOS or Android. Once there’s an update, you can easily update the Ledger Live mobile on your AppStore and Google Play.

However, for desktop users, the process of updating the Ledger Live app might be a bit complicated but the below-detailed information will guide you through the process.

Please download the last update of Ledger Live Application:

1.Ledger Live for Windows 10/11

2.Ledger Live for MAC

3.Ledger Live for Android

Note: Before you start this process, make sure that you’ve got a stable internet connection.

Auto-update Ledger Live app

  1. Click on the “Download update” notification

The first method of updating your Ledge Live app on your computer is through the auto-update notification option inside the app.

Once a new version of Ledger Live is released, it’s automatically made available to you through a notification on top of the app whenever you open it.

So, in the case that you see this notification inside your Ledger Live app, you can click on the “Download update” to download and install a new version of the Ledger Live app on your computer.

  1. Click on the “Install now” notification

Once, you’ve clicked on the download update. The download process of the Ledger Live app will begin and after it completes, it will display a button to “Install now”, then click on it to install the updated version of the Ledger Live app on your device.

  1. Wait for the installation process to finish and click on “Finish”

Now, you’ll notice that the Ledger Live app closes and the installation process begins. Wait for the process, tick the box that shows “Run Ledger Live” and click on “Finish” to finalize the process.

 The Ledger Live app will automatically reopen. Now, you’ve auto-updated your Ledger Live app to the latest version.

Manual Ledger Live app

The second method of updating your Ledge Live app on your computer manual. In the case, that the auto-update notification is not displaying inside your Ledger Live app might be because the version already installed on your computer is long outdated or for other reasons.

You’ll need to manually download an updated version of the Ledger Live app on the Ledger website.

Note: this process does not require you to uninstall the existing version of the Ledge Live app on your computer – as doing so, allows all the settings and accounts to still remain in the current updated version of Ledger Live.

Here’s what to do

  1. Open your browser and go to the Ledger website.
  2. Click on the download button on the page and choose your operating system.

  1. Once you have clicked on your operating system from the drop-down list, the download process will begin.
  2. Locate the downloaded Ledger Live software on your computer and install it.
  3. Now your Ledger Live app has been manually updated and it’s running the latest version.
