Other Updates

They added a $\color{blue}{\textsf{Blue Duel Disk}}$. It seems like this is for anyone who competed in Championship Summer 2007, similar to the Red Duel Disk in the previous championship.

They also changed the $\color{blue}{\textsf{NDS Qualifiers Uniform from old design to This Design}}$.

The TV Screen at your room now shows $\color{blue}{\textsf{Championship Summer 2007 Reservation}}$.

Now, it shows a Description on Structure Deck.

It now shows Ban/Restrict Cards in the Deck Construction Screen.

And it now shows Cards Missing if you load a deck that has forbidden cards or cards you don’t own.

This update only contained a few icons for the shop and more clothing variations have been added, this time a female casual tartan skirt. These are not available in game yet, but you still have to download them.

These are probably more option that will be available in the shop when it opens.

This now extends the variations of fashion wardrobes to:

Kaibaman in particular is a card made for Seto Kaiba and his Blue-eyes white dragons.

-Further npc quotes have been added for in-duel commentary, demonstrating that Konami will have a wide range of decks for its bots. -Extra images of playing character with the white uniforms animations have been added, so using them walking around is now possible. Im guessing these will be available from the shops, probably along with the cyclone black disk judging from the shop buy buttons. These animations are referred to in the code as ‘chibi’; which I think means ‘small’ or ‘child’ in japanese. (Just another example of untranslated language, like in your profile directory there is a file called ‘kaban’, or ‘suitcase’ in japanese – it defines what decks you have out)

No changes to the data files yet for profiles (the japanese and korean data were altered but I’m assuming its typos as I dont read that language !)

Four new cards were also added It’s next GS and DT Cards, the last one has already been mentioned in the previous post.

None of these cards can be selected as TP prizes.

I’ve also noticed a few interesting tidbits, There is more than one type of ban that can be imposed, these are: Trade ban, Chat ban, Duel ban, and Login ban. There, you will play a series of Single Duels all on auto-matching.You can also enter the EVOLUTION MATCH lobby by clicking on the event icon that will be displayed on screen if the event is on.Once inside, just open your DUEL MENU to join! Collect your stars in order to claim your prize at the end of each event!Exactly how you ‘collect stars’ is not evident at this time, it looks like these things are experimental ….

Nothing special no new cards on the shop but on 19 January (Release Date of Duel Pass Dinosaur’s Roar) maybe they will add more cards into the shop because previous V-Jump show Duel Pass Dinosaur’s Roar Expantion Pack.

A bit of advice, make sure you manually restart after the update; for me there were two updates, first a 20 meg one, followed by a 9 meg one. I’ve played previously when an update didn’t complete with weird text results.

Two new clothing additions, not sure of what they are called yet Not Available yet, It’s Johan and Johnouchi’s Cloth, Maybe in the future NPC will award you their cloth.

The logo on the blue and white t-shirt is some short of reference to the “Konami Code” or like a lot of people knows it as the “Contra Code”. The Konami code is Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A and Start. (Thanks to Kaido for pointing this out).

There is also a New Avatar Pieces (Scapegoat’s Avatar), which seems to be referred to in the code as ‘Afro LV 4′ (Personally I think it looks like a sheep creature, brain hugger) Look like’s all of this are Hat/Avatar’s Part on character head.

Yami Marik

Yami Marik is the dark persona of Marik Ishtar who is usually sealed by the powers of Odion Ishtar. He is the owner of the “Millenium Rod” and as head of the “Ghouls” organization, involved in organized crime. Nothing will give Yami Marik more pleasure than inflicting pain and suffering on others as he is unlike his true persona, a ruthless and sadistic thug. His deck is known as the “Immortality Deck” including the Egyptian God Card “The Winged Dragon of Ra”

Aster Phoenix [Edo Phoenix in JPN]

A child protégé that seeks to find the one who kidnapped his father. He was a professional duelist of the highest calibre, but in accordance with the predictions of Sartorius enrolled himself at the Duel Academy. He was in many ways seen as an anti-hero to Jaden as due to his unorthodox and vigilante like attitude, but later changes his ways as he starts to see the way Jaden genuinely enjoys duels. His deck is a hero deck with many “Destiny-Hero” cards which were a legacy of his missing father.

Also some new deck recipes are coming, there looks like at least three each for the incoming npcs:

Marik ?:

The coming of darkness : A Darkness deck with potent Field Magic cards such as “Mystic Plasma Zone” designed to bring the best out of the many Darkness Monsters included in the deck. The key to this deck is the monster card “Legendary Fiend”. Make use of cards such as “Soul Exchange” and “Metal Reflect Slime” to summon it! Once on the field, it’s time to activate “Mystic Plasma Zone” and raise its attack!! “Nightmare’s Wheel” is a great defensive card too. An offering to the shadows : Much like Marik’s “The coming of darkness” deck, this deck contains defensive cards such as the “Metal Reflect Slime” and “Nightmare’s Steelcage” which are both perfect for repelling monster attacks. Once they are on the field, use “Malice Doll of Demise”, “Lava Golem” and “Ectoplasmer” to eat away at the opponent’s life points and then… feed him/her to the shadows. The Lord of all Winged Dragons : ??

Aster: Elemental Heroes Not?! : This deck contains many Hero Monsters. The key card is the “Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer” which powers up in accordance to the number of Elemental Heroes in the graveyard as well as being indestructable in battle. The Destiny of Time : A deck built around the Destiny Heroes set. The key strategy with this deck would be to draw Destiny Heroes using the effects of cards such as “Destiny Draw” and “Destiny Hero – Disk Commander”. Once they have been sent to the graveyard, it is time to summon the powerful “Destiny Hero – Dreadmaster” using the effect of “Clock Tower Prison”. Ultimate Destiny Hero : Use the effects of cards such as “Destiny Hero – Dasher” which can’t be destroyed in battle as well as “Scapegoat” to make up the necessary numbers to special summon “Destiny Hero Plasma”. Once on the field, use its powerful effects to take control of the duel!!

??? : The Forbidden Summon : The aim of this deck is to special summon high level monsters using the effect of “Reasoning” and “Monster Gate” to quickly cease control of the field. These key cards can then be reclaimed when summoning the “Dark magician of Chaos” so that the player can then do the same thing all over again. Lumis and Umbra : A deck full of Masked monsters with ritual cards such as “Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands” included for the purpose of summoning “The Masked Beast”. It’s high ATK makes it a potent threat to any opponent! Masked monsters that get sent to the graveyard can also be used to tribute summon Sky Scourge monsters. Infinite plains : A deck designed with the purpose of powering up the “Muka Muka” using support cards such as “Infinite Cards” while also protecting it using “Level Limit – Area B”. Gadget cards as well as “Des Lacooda” have been included so that the player can quickly build up the hand. Use the effect of “Spiritual Earth Art – Kurogane” if “Muka Muka” is sent to the graveyard or “Release from Stone” if removed.

Please Note TCG Exclusive cards aren’t available in game yet Konami release booster packs and Promo follow OCG. The reason why Grandmaster of The Six Samurai and Volcanic Rocket are avaiable is because They already release it in Japan during Jump Festa 2008. In The Past There is “Novice Duelist” for Duelist who didn’t get any Title “Duelist” for Player who win a Duelist Trial Event “Gunslinger” for Player who earned 4-5 winning streak during Gunslinger Event and … sorry I can’t remember but There is a Title for YOC “Title System” is something I forgotten about it. “Title System” are under development we will see it in action soon, Some Title may have a condition before you acquire it, For a Full List of Title you can see it in source0 comment.

“Title System” are available now, We can get more Title and can easily change it, Today when I login to the game I got a New Title “Eternal Challenger” just like when I got Deck Recipe or Avatar Item From NPC (You may got a different Title than mine).

You can change your Title by select 1 from Title Available, You can also see a received Condition here too

All Title have a condition to obtain it, We know some from Previous Post but still missing some I will complete it as soon as I know.

Not only Title 2 New Cards was added into The Shop, Freya, Spirit of The Victory and Meltiel, Sage of the Sky from Duel Pass Divine Judgment now available in The Shops (30 MP for each one).
