Wendaghan

Wendaghan are very rare Fai who form transformed Humans. Due to the slow nature of the transformation process and the average sized mana reserves of humans, in most cases it should take a human around 70 years in the middle of the deep Eldritch Forest to completely become a Wendaghan, meaning that only around a few dozen have been spotted in the last couple centuries.

Description

The Wendaghan has been described as a hairy humanoid figure with no mouth, hollow eyes, and antlers, with three long fingers on each hand with razor sharp fingernails. Around seven feet tall, they're erratic creatures that might ignore terrified victims on a whim, while consuming other unsuspecting victims. They seem to be more sentient than most Fai and are often described as sadistic in nature. It's often said that the trademark of a Wendaghan attack are the entrails of the victim strung up around surrounding trees.  

Abilities

Wendaghan are physically very strong, have a quick reaction time, and nearly indestructible fingernails they use as weapons against their victims. They can easily outrun a human and have a vertical jump of around five feet.

Chronicler's Notes:

Personally, I haven't found any accounts of Wendaghans past 978 LC to be real, as their stories become less coherent past that point. Or maybe Wendaghans are getting stranger? Spooky. -S
