Background

In the spring of 2012, the Informatics: Language and Communication study programme seeks to increase its international dimension, both in terms of recruiting MSc applicants from outside Norway, receiving international exchange students, and sending out more of our own students to exchange visits abroad.

The German university system predominantly has two terms, called Wintersemester and Sommersemester, which run from mid-October to mid-February and mid-April to mid-July, respectively. For UiO students, it seems most attractive to attend courses in Germany during the Sommersemester.
