Highlights

  • The April Fools surprises have been disabled by default; they can be re-enabled in the Custom Game rules.
  • Most Germany/Finnish/Iran/Iraq changes from recent War Effort patches have been integrated into the mod, with India and Afghanistan soon to come.

Additions

  • Added historical ace names for Germany, Japan, Siam, Romania, Canada, etc.
  • New advisors for the United Kingdom, British RAJ, Portugal, Sweden, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Dutch East Indies.
  • One extra focus and various other smaller improvements for South Africa (more MIOs, historical advisors).
  • [MtG] Ported Dutch changes such as the availability of Fokker and DAF.
  • [MtG] Countries that were historically British Protectorates will now be released as such once UK decolonizes in its Communist tree.
  • [AAT] Added an MIO for Belgium.

Adjustments

  • Siam's focus Negotiations With France will now send its event requesting Cambodia and Laos to France instead of French Indochina.
  • Rt56 Switzerland focus General Fortifications Program now gives the Swiss Fortifications state modifier.
  • Romanian focus Increase Air Research now grants an aeronautical research centre.
  • Buffed the effects of several focuses in the Egyptian military tree.
  • Disallowed the potential of cloning Karl Pius von Habsburg and Vasyl Vyshyvanyi.
  • The Papal States now start as a bastion of Catholicism.
  • United Kingdom advisor Ernest Bevin now has the better Trade Unionist trait instead of Quartermaster General.
  • Portugal's advisor Jose Hipolito Raposo now has Minister of the Interior, in addition to his Fascist demagogue trait.
  • The Peru-Chile border now has 2 tiles (was 1) on both sides, which should improve the quality of life of fighting wars in the region.
  • R56 Portugal has received some small balance updates to strengthens air builds, and slightly weaken the Communist/Democratic branches while buffing the Fascist/Non-Aligned paths.
  • [LaR] Random agency upgrades reward now includes RT56 upgrades too.
  • [ToA] Communist USA will no longer be able to intervene against communism in Latin America.
  • [GD] Submarine anechoic tiles are now available for 1940 submarines and cruiser submarines like in the base game.

Bugfixes

  • Integrated as many bugfixes from the 1.16.5 patch as possible.
  • Rt56 Belgium's focus Restore the Auto-Cannon Unit now correctly grants MIO funds.
  • Fixed Greater Italy decision never appearing.
  • Fixed various Has Researched RADAR tech requirements never functioning.
  • If anyone defeats Poland's faction leader without joining their war against the USSR, the USSR now gets to keep East Poland instead of it wrongly appearing in the peace deal.
  • [MTG] Fixed Mexico's focus Triumph of Synarchism still appearing in some instances where it is supposed to hide.
  • [LaR] If removed, the Recovering From the Spanish Civil War spirit will no longer re-apply itself with certain focuses.
  • [LaR] If you complete the Spanish Civil War too quickly, Falangist Spain will no longer be stuck with the Carlism national spirit.
  • [LaR] Karl Pius von Habsburg will now be chooseable as a Carlist claimant, unless he is crowned by Peru earlier in the game.
  • [AAT] If Norway decides to put Trotsky into house-arrest, and later decides to deport him, Mexico will now get the correct event for his arrival.
  • [GD] Hungary no longer demands Transylvania when Germany has a focus available to give it to them.

GFX

  • Added several new focus icons.
  • New portraits for Venezuela and Liechtenstein.
  • Removed many duplicate national spirit icons throughout the United States, Germany, Sweden and Ireland.
  • Fixed some Eastern Front Pack planes GFX not being used.
  • [LaR] changed a number of Spanish focus icons.
  • [LaR] Added several missing Portuguese advisor portraits for those with the DLC enabled.
