[!IMPORTANT] Only unencrypted colorization files are supported.

The VNI-Plugin is a 2nd Plugin used for Altcolor.

Plugin Setup

Here you will see how a table is or should be organized with its subfolders.

Table Name (Manufacturer Year)/              <= We created a dedicated folder to hold all the files for this table

For Example "Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends (Data East 1993) v1.06", Table uses a Rom named "rab_320". To use this Table with Altcolor, we need a vni Folder next to the VPX-File. Inside the vni Folder, we need a Folder named like the Rom, here rab_320. Inside the rab_320 Folder the altcolor Files are stored. The Files must have the same Name as the Rom. In this Case they are named rab_320.pal and rab_320.vni.

[!IMPORTANT] Files can be named as on a usual VisualPinball Installation pin2dmd.vni and pin2dmd.pal. Also you can use pinmame/Altcolor/romname to put the Files in.

Tested PAL & VNI Combinations

These Altcolors were tested on the mobile version on VPinball Standalone 10.8.1 shortly after the plugin's release and at least partially work. Most Links are taken from the VisualPinball Spreadsheet, others found following discussions on VPUniverse. If a link is missing, it's up to you to find it, but it might still be somewhere. Note that an Altcolor available in Serum cROMc format might be a better choice than PAL & VNI.
