The following IFC schemas are supported by IFCTerrain. Here you get essential information related to the used schemas.

We support the official version of IFC2x3, which can be read here: IFC 2x3 - buildingSMART

We already support in this version:

• the export of:
  • STEP Physical File (SPF) (*.ifc)
  • Extensible Markup Language (XML) (*.ifcXML) (Documentation - buildingSMART) (ISO 10303-28:2007)
• support shape representation (more information here):
  • IFCGeometricCurveSet (GCS)
  • IFCShellBasedSurfaceModel (SBSM)

We support the official version of IFC4 ADD2, which can be read here: IFC 4 ADD2 - buildingSMART

In this version we add the support of:

• the export of: IFCGeographicElement (Documentation - buildingSMART)
• support shape representation (more information here): IFCTriangulatedFaceSet (TFS)

We support FC4.3, details can be read here: IFC 4.3 - buildingSMART

• support of the shape representation: IFCTriangulatedIrregularNetwork (more information here - buildingSMART)
