ALKIS2BIM Overview - dd-bim/City2BIM GitHub Wiki
The ALKIS2BIM function offers the possibility to import official data according to the German ALKIS scheme. Considered:
-
Parcels with attributes and properties (if contained in file)
-
Usage types without attributes, but colored according to topic
-
building perimeters
These are 2D surfaces, which are positioned in a separate layer below the project height. If a terrain was previously created using DTM2BIM, it is also possible to have one or more ALKIS themes draped auotmatized on the terrain.
The import can be configured via various settings. In the following you can see an example import:
(1) Before the import, the path to the ALKIS data must be set in the Settings window. Only data in XML format from the NAS interface (NAS-XML) is taken in consideration by the program.
If data is not available in the coordinate sequence YXZ, this can be changed here to XYZ.
- Import of ALKIS topics: Building perimeters, types of use, parcels (order from top to bottom).
- Coloring of the types of use according to ALKIS object type groups: Traffic, Vegetation, Settlement, Waters.
- Identification of the object type of the usage type (e.g. road, grove) via parameter comments.
- Consideration of parcel data as a parameter
- Creation of 2D plans for each ALKIS layer in the floor plans
- Categorization as subregions within a topography surface (this serves as a reference surface).
Example:
This function offers the user the possibility to place one or more ALKIS themes directly on the terrain. This is especially suitable for visual presentation purposes. (Image example, see image in overview).
Attention:
- the function is (currently) only activated if a terrain was previously created via DTM2BIM
- it is not recommended to use parcels (drape Parcels) and usage types (drape Usage) together, because the areas usually overlap each other
All imported areas have property data at their disposal.
Via the Icon: you can request the (ALKIS) properties of the selected object.

Please note:
- you can see only the properties of the selected object
- manipulate already existing properties
- add & remove properties
