Starting with a Microsoft Sharepoint (Plan 1) is easy.

Simply visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/sharepoint/compare-sharepoint-plans and go through the onboarding steps.

If you are logged out, the onboarding starts by declaring the amount of people for the new plan.

Enter your email. This can be a private or a business email.

Setup your account.

Enter a phone number.

Now you can specify your first user account of the new domain. It's here where initially the domain has to be entered.

Confirm the quantity information.

Specify billing information.

Accept and agreement and place order (no picture below). The order is processed.

That's it!

See the confirmation information. Click 'Start using Sharepoint (Plan 1)'.

The first landing is on the newly created Azure Admin Site.

To login on your sharepoint site, use https://<yournewdomain>.sharepoint.com/.

To login on the admin site of your sharepoint site, use https://<yournewdomain>-admin.sharepoint.com/.
