Sonic Adventure 2 is a 3D platformer game developed by SEGA and Sonic Team and released for the Dreamcast in 2001. Intended to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary, it is the direct follow-up to 1998's Sonic Adventure and the final Sonic game to be released on a SEGA console. Just like with its predecessor, the sequel makes use of assets found in the Sozaijiten series.
