In order to access RFI environment, we took 10 minutes of data towards zenith (on 19th May, 2017 at 1pm). The data was collected as a chuck of 2.2 minutes long files. All these files were combined using ‘create_fil.py’ to create a single 10 minutes long filterbank file. Bandshape of the combined filterbank file is shown in Fig 1. It looks particularly bad at both ends but even the center region is not clean. After flagging most of the prominent features, Fig 2 is the resultant bandshape. RFI environment looks similar towards zenith also.
