Sensors

Rain / Wind Direction and Wind Speed seem to operate the same as this setup: https://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sensors/Weather/Weather%20Sensor%20Assembly..pdf

Rain

Using this sensor: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6523768599.html

Rain sensor is a tipping scale style, where the buckets are balanced on a pivot. As the rain flows, the buckets empty and the see-saw moves. The see-saw is connected to a reed-switch which closes when the pivot moves.

Basically it works as a button that triggers once for a certain amount of rain flow.

Uses RJ11 connector - Two central connectors

Wind Direction

Using this sensor: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6523768598.html

Gives 16 discrete directions by connecting different resistors by switching them in as the vane rotates.

Combined output with the wind speed RJ11 connector - outer connectors

Wind Speed

Using this sensor: http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6523768600.html

Switch closes once per rotation.

Combined output with the wind speed RJ11 connector - inner connectors

Air Temperature

Probably use a freehanging thermistor external to the box such as http://www.ussensor.com/sites/default/files/downloads/USP11491.pdf

Barometer

I2C SMD Barometer - http://www.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MPL115A2.pdf $3.29 @ 1

Humidity

UV Insolation

No idea. http://www.vishay.com/docs/84277/veml6070.pdf ?
