If your rank/donor tier allows, here's how to use colors on signs, nicknames, nametags, or chat.
Look up color code. For example white is "§f". To use this in-game, replace it with an ampersand instead. So "&f" is white. Place these before the text to be colored.
Format codes work the same way.
In Minecraft 1.16, they added support for any hex color but support for them varies.
For nicknames, use &
followed by the hex color code. You can find hex color codes in any color picker. The hex color is always #
followed by six characters, like #ffffff
for white.
To use a hex color in your nickname, use /nick &#A4FF9Dyourname
Hex colors in chat are currently disabled but coming back soon, as we recently replaced our chat plugin.
If you see players with gradients in their nicks, they've done that by choosing a color for each letter. It's harder to make a gradient with shorter names.
Here's a a color-code/command generator for building a gradient.
