Description

There are several types of resources that each has their own typeid in DeviantArt. This pages attempts to document them.

Methods Of Discovery

• You can find more typeids by entering the following query (example link) into Google:

  inurl:comments.deviantart.com/<id>/
  

• Some of these resource types are not visible to public, e.g. item 49 (correspondence) can only be accessed if you're logged-in (thus inaccessible to Google).

Usage

• The Gallections and Aggregations page use 20 for the Gallery and 21 for the Favourites folder.
• The Comments can be made on most of the following resources, e.g.: 4 for the Profile page, 1 for the Deviations page.

Additional Notes

• The user polls (14) differ from site polls (6).
• Resource 2 historically referred to site news and is now automatically redirected to the new format (1) with incompatible ids.
• Resource 5 referred to journals but is now redirected to the 1 type.
• Resource 61 is unknown and needs more investigation.
• Resource 29 refers to the "Private Discussion" which is seen on the group invitation requests, and is only visible to "Privileged Members".
• Resource 49 refers to group invitation requests and group submissions (either favourite or gallery) requests.
• There are a lot of hidden resource types that need to be discovered, although some of them may be removed.
