Pokemon League Services

The 2nd Floor of every PokeCenter (other than at the Pokemon League) has been replaced with the Pokemon League Services. The more badges you acquire, the more services you can use. The three vendors are:

  • The Move Deleter: Now you can access a move deleter in every town during your journey
  • The Berry Vendor: Get access to rarer berries as you progress
  • The Elite Vendor: Get access to rare items

Petalburg Post

The Petalburg Post Office provides a daily quest for players to receive a small reward. Once per day, the postman will task the player with finding the owner of package in one of Hoenn's cities. The catch is that the label has rubbed off, so he can't you exactly who it's for! Completing a delivery in the same day it is given will reward $3,000 (you need to return to the post office to collect your reward). If you don't complete it in the same day, you will not receive a tip.

Spoiler: Currently, each city only has 1 possible solution. Repeat deliveries will go to the same customer, but rewards will still be given.

Slateport Dojo

The Slateport Dojo is where Hoenn's champions go to train! Challenge the pupils of the OFFENSE and DEFENSE masters to raise your Pokemon's stats.

Each of the pupils has a team of 4 pokemon that award 3 EVs in a specific stat. Each trainer can be battled once per day for free, but for a small donation, each master will reset their 3 pupils for a rematch. Rematches can be performed as many times per day as you'd like, as you can afford it.

Each pupil's team is level 30.

S.S. Tidal Battles

The six trainers on the S.S. Tidal have had their levels increased to 50, and their team sizes increased to 6. They can now be rebattled on every trip. This has been added to provide an alternative space to easily re-battle trainers for EXP & money in the post game instead of rebattling the Elite 4 or waiting for rematches.

Kanto Cameos

A small event featuring BLUE has been added to the start of the game. LEAF can be encountered during the main quest, and can be found during a legendary Pokemon side quest in the post game. RED can be encountered in the post game.

Each of the Kanto trainers are avaialble for daily rematches (provided you've completed some minimal prerequisites). Successfully defeating each Kanto trainer will trigger PROF. OAK's cameo in the Lilycove Museum, where you can receive a Kanto Starter. This can be done once per day, and the starter you receive each time is random.

Johto Cameos

ETHAN, KRIS, and LYRA can be found in the Safari Zone rest house. Only one visitor will appear each day, and the selection is random. Once per day, whoever is visiting will give a Johto starter.
