🤔 What is the Focused Mode?

Introduced with Prism 3.3.0, Focused Mode is an option which dims away UI elements leaving your notes in the spotlight. This option was added to help you focus on writing with minimal distractions.

When you hover over a UI element it will fade back in and remain that way for a set time. You can customise this interval along with the fade opacity in Style Settings. There is also an option to chose where the Focused Mode applies:

  • Main Window Only
  • Popout Windows Only
  • Main and Popout Windows

You can find the options available for it in Style Settings -> Prism Theme -> Appearance -> Focused Mode.

👀 Using Focused Mode

Focused Mode can be toggled on/off with a hotkey! Simply search for Style Settings: Toggle Enable Focused Mode in Settings -> Hotkeys Tab to bind it. You can also manually turn it on/off in Style Settings at the location specified above.
