The Renault Zoe Gen2 support was added on Nov/2024. Help wanted with updating this Wiki with more info on how to use the 50kWh battery!

Variants of the Zoe
There are 3x batteries available for the Zoe, This page focuses on the Gen2 52kWh battery
- 22kWh 2012-2019, Gen1
- 41kWh 2016-2019, Gen1
- 52kWh 2019-, Gen2

Beware that the plug for previous generations battery fits the 52kw version but the pinout is different so it will not work.
Allso note plug pinout is seen from the rear of the plug where the wires come out. If you cannot source a plug and are comfortable opening the battery, theres a handy industry std connector just on the inside, but the colors of wires change. (white visible below)

Connect the pins from the battery to the Battery-Emulator, according to this diagram:
Please note this circuit diagram is currently work in progress, check validity yourself before powering on
Also the below circuit diagram included a CAN Filter (as required for some invertors) and the optional equipment stop button.
[!NOTE] This Zoe battery contains GND switched precharge relay and positive contactor. There is no negative contactor to control

*Please note not all safety switches are the same there is at least 2 versions, using the incorrect one could result in blown fuses or worse.
- Also part no. 993B1 5333R is for the sticker on top of the safety fuse not the safety fuse itself.
The correct part number can be found by looking at the area as shown below.
My 52kwh battery came with following part:
Renault Zoe Gen 2 safety switch has continuity between terminals 1-2 and 3-4, as shown above. (Renault Zoe Gen 1 has continuity between terminal 1-4 and 2-3, there is also a fuse inside which Gen2 switch does not have).
