After cloning a VM template the following steps should be taken to finish a whole deployment:

1. Update the hostname in /etc/hostname /etc/hosts /etc/network/interfaces
2. Change the MAC address It looks like Proxmox does this when cloned

... I really need to test this. Also like, how about virt-sysprep?
