Data Privacy
We do not log any of your data when you use this PyGrater.
The upside to using PyGrater instead of doing a search in your browser, is that you are not logged in to any account that may tie directly back to you.
It is of course not necessary to sign into your Google Account (think Gmail or YouTube) when you use a web browser, but many of us do sign in, and don't necessarily think about the data collection that occurs when we are.
That being said, we are not able to block Google from logging the queries and tying them back to your IP address (although this isn't as useful to them as having a unique personal account to tie to).
What PyGrater does, is it decouples your search queries from the unique identifier of your Google, Facebook, or other account you may be signed into in your web browser. It also randomly chooses a spoofed browser and operating system identifier combination every time a search is performed. This helps to obfuscate the request further.
Of course, using a more privacy focused search engine in the first place may be a better approach for those who are interested. DuckDuckGo is a good one.
