Showing Exercise Solutions - czbar/ChessForge GitHub Wiki

By default, the solutions to exercises are hidden which is a reasonable setting for exercises that are meant to be solved. However, in some workbooks it may be unnecessary and inconvenient, for example in workbooks discussing strategic ideas with game fragments as examples. To change this, use one of the two functions:

Show Exercise Solutions

In the Chapter menu (green below), select Show Exercise Solutions (red below):

 

In the dialog box, tick the Show by Default checkbox (red below). To apply this setting to all chapters, select the Apply to All Chapters checkbox (blue below), otherwise it will only apply to the current chapter. When ready, press the OK button (green below):

 

Show All Solutions in Chapter

In the Exercise view (green below), open the right-click context menu and select Show All Solutions in Chapter (red below):

 

To hide exercise solutions, open the right-click context menu and select Hide All Solutions in Chapter (yellow above).
