Settings
Open Settings with the icon at the top right. Everything saves automatically, and all your entries are kept.
Language
English (default) or German. The switch changes every text of the app at once: menus, messages, the plan with all titles and descriptions, date and number formats (5.2 km or 5,2 km). Your own entries, such as notes or habit names, stay as you typed them. The choice is stored in the data set and travels with your backup. More: Translations.
Your goal
- Race day: the plan's calendar comes from this date. The plan starts 27 weeks before the Monday of race week. If you already have entries, the app asks before changing it: entries stay with their weeks (week 1, 2, …), only the calendar days of the weeks shift.
- Half marathon goal time as
h:mm:ss, allowed from 0:50:00 to 4:00:00. From it the app calculates the goal pace (goal time divided by 21.0975 km), which appears in the descriptions of tempo sessions and in the pace chart. - Below is a note on how many weeks remain until the race, whether race day is in the past and whether it is a Sunday.
Training
- A body part you want to watch (up to 20 characters, for example knee or Achilles tendon). After every run the app asks how it feels, and the stats show its trend. Leave it empty to turn this off.
- Monday, Tuesday and Friday: one extra session each from strength, bouldering, calisthenics, stretching, yoga, swimming, cycling or off. Runs are fixed on Wednesday and Sunday.
GPS and route
- Privacy zone around the start: off, 150 m, 300 m (default), 500 m or 1 km.
- Save route: yes (default) or no.
- Test mode: inaccurate GPS: off (default) or on. Normally the tracker ignores GPS fixes with a reported error above 35 m. With test mode on it also records fixes up to 100 m, and ignores movement smaller than the reported error so wobble does not count as distance. Distance stays reliable when the phone reports a GPS speed; without a speed reading it is only approximate. Meant for testing indoors or in bad reception, turn it off for real runs. The diagnostic log then shows
test=1and a separate count for fixes between 35 m and 100 m. - Voice announcements: off (default), every 500 m or every 1 km, and with test mode on also every 10 m. The 10 m step is only for hearing the voice: it counts raw GPS movement and speaks about every 12 seconds, even if you stand still, and the distances it says are not real. The setting is read when you press Start: a change during a recording applies from the next run, and the recording screen says so. While recording, a voice says the distance and the pace of the last stretch, then your average pace, in minutes per kilometer and always in English. The first announcement of a run adds “per kilometer”. Test voice plays a sample, so you can check that an English voice is installed and how loud it is. Only in the Android app; in the browser the setting just says so.
See GPS recording and Privacy.
Diagnostics
The anonymous log helps find out why a recording stops. You can switch it on and off, view, share and delete it. It contains no places, distances, dates, names or device identifiers. Details under Troubleshooting. The log does not exist in the browser.
Records
Records per sport (running, bouldering, stretching, calisthenics). When adding one, the app suggests templates; for running for example longest run, 5 km, 10 km, half marathon and marathon. If you add a new record for the same discipline, the old one moves to “Earlier” automatically. A new longest run is added automatically if you already have a record for it. Template names follow the language setting.
Goals
Personal goals per sport (or general) with an optional date. Check off goals you reach.
Delete all data
At the very bottom of the page is “Delete all data”. The app asks first, because this can't be undone. The language setting is kept. Save a backup first, see Backup and data.
