Contribute deb package - cubieplayer/Cubian GitHub Wiki

cubian has a private package center which is http://packages.cubian.org/. It provides tools and libraries designed for cubiebaord or sunxi devices. All the software sources is in this repository https://github.com/mmplayer/cubian-packages.

You can contribute the standard debian package, just create a pull reqeust. How to create a debian package is beyond this article, I will not talk about it, but there is template folder in the repository you can get start from it.

Your pull reqeust will be accepted if,

1. The package MUST pass the lintian check.Warnings are acceptable, Errors are not or you must have an acceptable reason.
2. Named properly

As soon as your package is accepted. I will do a manual check. If everything is fine, i will sign it and distribute to the software center mentioned above. So many folks can use your software easily.
