The Project

Create a website and a server that can securely store passwords so they can be synced between devices. It would essentially be an open clone of websites such as LastPass. This project will need to use good cryptography principles to authenticate a user and to securely transfer data.

As a bonus, this project could include a pc client that has auto-type capabilities. There is already an open source software that can do this called keePass. KeePass is a very capable password manager, but is only client side and has no network backup. It has good plugin support so this could be reworked to work with the server.
