Hack the Box is a ethical hacking training website. Hack the box gives rewards for VMs that they can use for teaching. The Project

We'd probably host a website on the VM with somesort of hackable vulnerability to get a foothold and then some combination of vulnerabilities on the VM allowing unauthorized root access. I've done something like this but smaller in IT&C 567 and it's pretty fun.
