An Alternative to Zybook and Boring Tutorials - cs428TAs/f2026 GitHub Wiki

I'm tired of using zybook to learn how to code in my classes, but I also know that I learn best by actually coding. I think it could be cool to create some sort of storyline or game that teaches some sort of basics of coding or using the terminal in a more fun and engaging way. I think the main challenge might be figuring out how to integrate a sandbox environment for running code into the website (especially if we want to do it securely...) I'm also sure there are a lot of logistics I haven't even thought of yet, but we would have a lot of flexibility in how simple/complex the story/game would be and how difficult the coding challenges would be. Plus, we gotta save the future generation from boring tutorials, right?
