The installation on OctoPrint is very easy:

• Open the OctoPrint webinterface
• Open the settings panel
• Select "Plugin manager" on the left
• Select "Get more", confirm with your password if prompted
• Search for OctoApp and hit "Install"

The plugin will now be installed and after a restart of OctoPrint you will see new entry in the settings panel on the left called "OctoApp". Initially the list with apps will be empty, but when you use your app the next time it will connect with the plugin and register itself for notifications. If your app isn't communicating with the plugin for some time the plugin will automatically remove your app again.
