• reverse cast: useful feature for performance control but automatic insertion causes performance blowups in some developments (unimath especially badly) not clear if that can be avoided or if not how to control it

• 8.20 RM : Pierre with help and experience from Guillaume

• PR #18563 : Pierre will review it but the situation with stdlib is not satisfactory, we should find a solution / make progress on CEP #83
