Hey - I don't get it - if this is SwingDriver, why does the code and some documentation refer to AWTomation?

Well - it's simple that when the project was started, I could think of no better name than SwingDriver - but when I started to dig more in the to UI frameworks for Java, then there appeared the wonderful wordplay that could be expressed by referring to the project as the AWTomation project.

Basically - SwingDriver / AWTomation are the same thing. I'll fix what I can to reduce this problem over time.
