Running participants in person:

  • REDCap All non-SONA participants must be added to the CML REDCap database following the instructions in steps 1-4 here.
    • If you are using REDCap for any reason - including participant payments, logging study information, consenting, or collecting survey responses, participants must be added to the CML REDCap database regardless of recruitment method.
  • Use the Google Calendars to book testing rooms with your experiment name and your name as the event title.
    • Be sure to book the correct room! Each room is booked individually. Contact the lab manager or your supervisor if you need calendar access.
  • Participant parking instructions, parking permits, and parking maps are available on the Forms & Flyers page.
    • Schedule > Bookings provides a helpful view to browse current openings.
    • Research phone number: 314-935-0212
    • Fund number: Contact the lab manager to ensure you are using the correct fund number for your project.
  • Call buttons should be given to each participant. This allows participants to alert experimenters when they need help, when they are ready to begin a new phase of the experiment, when they have finished the experiment, etc.
    • Call buttons & desks are each numbered & matched to the receivers so that experimenters know which participant is in need of assistance.
    • Chargers for call buttons & receivers are located at the small countertop by the main lab door.
    • Be sure to turn the receivers off when you are finished for the day. Call buttons are always on. Both call buttons & receivers should be charged periodically.
    • If a call button is out of sync with a receiver, please alert the lab manager so that they can re-pair the buttons in the proper sequence.
