NordVPN Functionality Allow List

Available since v2025.3.2 as Add-On (Supporter Edition)

Application Menu: NordVPN -> Edit AllowList

Supported NordVPN commands:

Ports add:

• nordvpn allowlist add port portNb protocol [TCP|UDP]
• nordvpn allowlist add ports portFrom portTo protocol [TCP|UDP]
• nordvpn allowlist add port portNb
• nordvpn allowlist add ports portFrom portTo

Ports remove:

• nordvpn allowlist remove port portNb protocol [TCP|UDP]
• nordvpn allowlist remove ports portFrom portTo protocol [TCP|UDP]
• nordvpn allowlist remove port portNb
• nordvpn allowlist remove ports portFrom portTo

Subnet add:

• nordvpn allowlist add subnet subnet

Subnet remove:

• nordvpn allowlist remove subnet subnet

Remove all allowlist definitions:

• nordvpn allowlist remove all

GUI

Manage Ports

1. Tab Page to manage the Allow List for Ports

2. List with currently allowlisted ports

   • [-] Button: Remove Port from allowlist and move it to the deactivate list (see 4.)
   • [Trashcan] Button: Remove Port from allowlist

3. Add Allowlist port(s):

   • Enter the port number in the first field
   • Optionally add the port number for the end of a range in the second field
   • Define for which protocol the port should be allowlisted (Multiselect by holding the Ctrl-key pressed) - both protocol options can be selected or deselected to allow TCP and UDP.
   • [+] Button: Add the port(s) to the allowlist

4. List with currently deactivated ports.

   • [+] Button: Add the port(s) to the allowlist (and remove it from the deactivate list)
   • [Trashcan] Button: Remove Port from the deactivate list

   (Remark: The deactivated list is stored in the local user preferences)

5. [Remove All] Button: Remove all allowlisted Ports and Subnets

Manage Subnets

1. Tab Page to manage the Allow List for Subnets

2. List with currently allowlisted subnets

   • [-] Button: Remove Subnet from allowlist and move it to the deactivate list (see 4.)
   • [Trashcan] Button: Remove Subnet from allowlist

3. Add Allowlist port(s):

   • Enter the Subnet address in the fields
   • Optionally enter the subnet name in the Name to IP field
     • a) press enter. If the name can be resolved, a dialog window with IP address(es) opens.
     • b) Press the button with the IP address to add - or cancel
     • c) The selected address is filled in the add fields
   • [+] Button: d) + e) Add the port(s) to the allowlist

4. List with currently deactivated subnets

   • [+] Button: Add the subnet to the allowlist (and remove it from the deactivate list)
   • [Trashcan] Button: Remove Port from the deactivate list

   (Remark: The deactivated list is stored in the local user preferences)

5. [Remove All] Button: Remove all allowlisted Ports and Subnets
