Colouring London was set up in 2016 at The Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), University College London, funded by grants from the CASA/Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, Innovate UK, UCL Innovation and Business, The MacArthur Foundation and Historic England. It moved to the Alan Turing Institute in 2020.
