Agenda

Current Business

1. (Still!!) working on new version of CoinAll.
   • All projects have releases except Dip, which now has a new stable that I'm trying to roll in.
   • Currently rolling out Homebrew recipes one by one. We've worked out a lot of the details and it's mostly formulaic now. We're up to CGL. Feel free to fork and pitch in!
   • Will keep installer going for now on Windows.
   • Linux packages are becoming more widely available.
2. CI Issues
   • [jenkins.coin-or.org:8080 Jenkins] is mostly working again (need to clean up).
   • BaTLab seems to be dying.
   • Thinking about using Travis, builds are set up for the Homebrew recipes, but not really that useful for development.
3. Build tools issues
   • Anyone want to work on new build tools version?
   • Last agenda said "tentatively keeping root directories", but over beer at ISMP, we decided that we should get rid of them.
   • pkg-config-lite as a substitute for pkg-config? Probably moot.
   • Updates at BuildTools ticket 95
   • Should we modify the xxx_addlibs.txt and *.pc files to reflect that you no longer need to explicitly link to dependencies (once that is actually working).
   • Is it time to think !CMake
   • available for testing.
   • AMPL also has a Cmake harness available
4. Project submissions update
   • Pending Submissions: CyLP, Yaosipb, GiMPy, GrUMPy
   • increase requirements for new projects? e.g., require already active development and use?
5. Git integration issues
   • Git mirroring has been working well.
   • Github landing page for COIN-OR? Still not there...
   • BuildTools and ThirdParty projects are mirrored here
   • We also have a new Github CoinBazaar
   • How to enable easy checkout and monolithic build from git? Still a question, but I have a possible idea...
   • Integration with TRAC and current Web site
   • Git repo should be part of the XML file for each project
   • Issue tracking, mailing lists, etc.
6. Binaries, installers, packagers
   • Considering binstar and conda
   • Windows: Move to WiX?
   • EPM?
   • Debian and Fedora updates
   • AMPL builds: Should we join forces?
7. Doxygen stuff fixed, but need to install documentation properly on Web site.
8. New Web site and branding for COIN-OR Optimization Suite
9. Coverity
   • Cbc is there now
   • Should we add new ones?
10. Possible use of figshare to get DOIs for releases: still on hold
11. Problems with scripts (still outstanding)

• BuildTools source doesn't get checked out properly (but not really a problem)
• Data projects don't get checked out into pkgsource directory.
• Other issues?
