TLC Meeting September 26, 2006

The TLC met by teleconference on September 26, 2006 at 1:00 PM EST.

Agenda

1. Status of creation of stable versions

Notes

1. Andreas reported that stable versions for many of the projects have already been created. There was some discussion regarding procedures for creating stable versions for umbrella projects. Next steps include sending an e-mail to project amangers announcing Wiki page and asking them to create stable version within two weeks. After that, we will announce to users that they should start downloading stable versions instead of trunk. Finally, we will try to merge all development versions into trunk.

2. It was decided that the script for creating tarballs should automatically generate tarballs for all subdirectories in the releases/ subdirectory, but that there should be a mechanism for allowing the project manager to supress creation of the tarballs for certain directories.

3. There was a discussion about how to allow project managers to create static Web pages and how this should be integrated with Trac. No conclusions were reached.

4. The remaining agenda items were tabled.
