The TLC met by teleconference on July 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM ET.

Notes

1. It was discussed that our lawyer informed us that OsiGlpk cannot be distributed in its current form, as it would be considered a work derived both from GLPK and OSI, which have incompatible licenses. A discussion took place regarding the implications of this and it was decided to contact Andrew Makhorin and see about relicensing under the LGPL or getting an exception clause for linking with open source software.

2. There was a broad discussion about releases and release cycle. It was agreed to make new releases for all the stable version associated with CoinAll 1.1 and then to create a new release CoinAll 1.1.1. It was also agreed that, in principle, setting target dates for creating associated sets of releases and new stable versions is a good idea. An initial target for the creation of new stable version would be about every six months, with bug-fix releases in between.

3. The bug squashing party is set for July 28 and July 29. We'll have an organizational meeting to set things up next Thursday. Please forward any ideas for what goals we should focus on.

4. Remaining items were tabled.
