The TLC met by teleconference on May 10, 2010 at 3:00 PM EST.

Notes

1. The discussion item on mailing lists was tabled until next time.
2. It was decided to stick with maintenance of MSVC++ version 9 files until such time as it becomes clear we need to change. At the moment, upgrading to version 10 from version 9 works smoothly.
3. There was further discussion of changes to the build tools. It was suggested to look into the use of gnulib as a supplement to pkg-config. Further details of the discussion can be seen on the coin-tlc and buildtools mailing lists.
4. There was discussion about how to avoid installation of the autoheaders. Again, more details are available on the mailing lists.
5. There was discussion of how to get information from variables set in the autoheaders into another header that could be installed. For example, this could allow access to version info. We will look into mechanisms for doing this.
6. Discussion of PM guidelines was tabled.
7. There was a brief discussion of what job to give to the new volunteer who just popped up. We'll offer her a few options, most likely involving development of a new Web site.
